Streamy Music is a streaming-on-demand application that allows Users to discover, search, and play music and related content made available by third-party services. The App:

Provides an interface to stream content primarily from YouTube via official YouTube APIs.
May display lyrics and/or synchronized lyrics powered by services such as Musixmatch.
May display metadata such as artist names, album art, track information, biographies, and similar data from third-party APIs.
May allow Users to create and manage playlists, favorites, history, and other personal library features within the App.

Streamy Music does not host or store audio or video files of the third-party content it displays or streams. All such content is provided and delivered by external platforms under their own terms and conditions.

Streamy Music is not YouTube, is not affiliated with YouTube, and is not an official YouTube application. We do not claim any endorsement, sponsorship, or approval by YouTube or any other third-party provider.

We gratefully acknowledge YouTube and all content creators for making a vast library of music and videos available through their services. Streamy Music merely facilitates access to that content via official APIs, while respecting YouTube’s Terms of Service at all times.

4. Third-Party Services and YouTube Notice

The App integrates content and functionalities from third-party platforms, including but not limited to:

YouTube (video and audio streaming, thumbnails, metadata).
Musixmatch (lyrics and synchronized lyrics, where available).
Other metadata or analytics providers (for example, artist data and recommendations).

YouTube is an independent platform, and its trademarks, logos, and content are the property of their respective owners. Streamy Music is not affiliated, sponsored, or endorsed by YouTube or Google LLC.

Access to any YouTube content through the App is subject not only to these Terms but also to YouTube’s own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and any other applicable policies. By using Streamy Music, you agree to comply with YouTube’s Terms when accessing YouTube content.

The App uses only what YouTube’s APIs legally permit. We do not hide or suppress the YouTube video player; the video remains available in a visible, embedded form (even if in a small size), and Users can access the YouTube view at any time in line with YouTube’s requirements.

5. User Accounts and Authentication

Streamy Music may allow you to create or access an account using third-party authentication providers such as Google, Apple, Facebook, or an email-based login.

By creating or using an account, you agree that:

You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Any activity carried out under your account will be deemed to have been performed by you.
You will not share your account credentials with any other person or allow others to use your account.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms or any applicable law.
Attempt to circumvent technical protections, abuse the Service, or conduct fraudulent activity.
Engage in piracy, unauthorized copying, or redistribution of content.

6. Permitted Use

Streamy Music is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. By using the App, you commit to:

Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Respect all intellectual property rights of third-party content owners.
Access and consume content only as allowed by the original provider (e.g., YouTube) and applicable law.

You must not:

Use the App to download, copy, record, or redistribute any audio/video content unless explicitly permitted by the original provider.
Use bots, scrapers, automated scripts, or any other automated means to access, query, or interact with the Service.
Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Bypass or attempt to bypass any digital rights management (DRM), technical protection, usage limitation, or geographic restriction imposed by YouTube or any third-party service.
Use the Service to engage in piracy, fraud, cheating, or any activity that infringes upon copyrights or other rights.

Our organization is committed to maintaining a clean, fair, and lawful environment. Any form of cheating, piracy, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All audio, video, images, lyrics, metadata, trademarks, logos, and other content accessible through the App are the property of their respective owners (for example, artists, labels, YouTube, Musixmatch, and other platforms) and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Streamy Music:

Does not claim ownership of any third-party content accessed through the App.
Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of such content (including lyrics, titles, or artwork).
Displays or streams content only to the extent permitted by the relevant third-party APIs and their terms.

8. Third-Party Services and Availability

Streamy Music depends on external APIs and services, including but not limited to YouTube and Musixmatch. The performance, availability, and behavior of the App are therefore partly dependent on these third-party providers.

Streamy Music is not responsible for:

Interruptions, errors, or outages caused by third-party services.
Removal or unavailability of specific content by the original provider.
Regional restrictions, geo-blocking, or other limitations imposed by third-party platforms.
Changes in APIs, policies, or technical requirements implemented by YouTube, Musixmatch, or other partners.

The User acknowledges that the terms and policies of third-party services (for example, YouTube’s Terms of Service and Musixmatch’s policies) also apply to any content accessed via Streamy Music. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those third-party terms.

9. Free Trials, Subscriptions, and Billing

Streamy Music may offer free trials, promotional periods, or paid subscription plans through app stores or other platforms. Specific pricing, billing cycles, and renewal conditions will be presented in the store or within the App interface.

If you start a free trial, it may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the end of the trial period. You are solely responsible for managing your subscription and cancellations through the respective store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other payment providers).

Streamy Music cannot be held responsible if you forget to cancel a free trial or subscription in time. In such cases, charges may apply according to the store’s billing terms, and no refunds are guaranteed. Any refund requests must typically be directed to the platform or store through which you purchased the subscription.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streamy Music and its owner shall not be liable for:

Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.
Loss of data, device failures, or any other damage or loss resulting from the use of third-party services accessed through the App.
Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content displayed (including lyrics, translations, artwork, or metadata).
Any content that you may find offensive, inappropriate, or otherwise objectionable that is provided by third-party platforms.

You use the App solely at your own risk. Streamy Music is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Modifications to the Service and to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without prior notice.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will endeavor to notify Users through the App or by other reasonable means. The updated Terms will be effective as of the date indicated at the top of this document.

Your continued use of Streamy Music after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

12. Legal Compliance, Warranties, and Enforcement

You agree to use Streamy Music in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including copyright and intellectual property laws.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor use of the App and enforce these Terms, including by:

Restricting or terminating access to the Service for Users who violate these Terms or applicable laws.

Taking technical or legal measures to prevent abuse, fraud, and piracy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Subject to any mandatory legal provisions to the contrary, any dispute arising out of or related to the App or these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts located in or near Alexandria, United States.

We do not attempt to circumvent restrictions, we do not hide our usage patterns, and we do not repurpose data in ways that conflict with the original intent of the provider. Our team reviews provider guidelines regularly and adjusts our integration architecture whenever policies change. 2. Limitations and Responsible Consumption

Wherever possible, we limit our API usage to stay comfortably within the free tiers and fair-use boundaries defined by our partners. When a provider offers a public API with documented quotas, we cache responses intelligently, batch requests efficiently, and avoid unnecessary polling. Our backend infrastructure is designed to minimize redundant calls and to respect rate-limit headers returned by every endpoint. We review our traffic patterns monthly and adjust caching strategies whenever a provider changes their rate-limit policy or quota structure.

We also implement fallback mechanisms so that temporary service interruptions from one provider do not degrade your overall experience. If one lyrics service becomes temporarily unavailable, the app gracefully degrades rather than failing. If a metadata provider experiences downtime, we surface cached information from prior requests to keep browsing functional. This balanced approach protects both our users and our partners, ensuring a sustainable relationship with every data source we rely on.

We do not scrape, record, or download any video or audio files from YouTube. All playback happens through the official embedded player, which remains visible during playback in accordance with YouTube's platform requirements.

We do not support background playback with the screen turned off, we do not cache full media files locally, and we do not permit users to extract audio tracks from YouTube videos. Our usage is limited to searching, browsing, and streaming content exactly as YouTube's APIs are designed to allow. We are grateful for the extraordinary catalog of music and video content that YouTube and its creators make available, and we are committed to preserving that relationship through fully compliant use.

4. Apple iTunes – Public Search API

Apple iTunes Search API

We use the publicly available Apple iTunes Search API to retrieve metadata such as song titles, artist names, album artwork, release dates, and genre classifications. This API is offered by Apple Inc. as a free, public resource for developers. We access it within the documented request limits and cache responses responsibly to reduce repeated queries.

All artwork, metadata, and related content displayed through the iTunes API remain the intellectual property of Apple, the artists, and the record labels. We do not claim ownership of any material retrieved through this service. Our usage is limited strictly to enriching the browsing and discovery experience within Streamy Music.

5. LRCLIB – Open Lyrics Database

LRCLIB is a community-driven, open-source repository of synchronized song lyrics provided free of charge to developers and music enthusiasts. Streamy Music queries LRCLIB to display lyrics alongside the tracks you play. We respect the open nature of this resource by attributing data where appropriate and by not overwhelming the service with excessive request volume.

Lyrics content belongs to the respective songwriters, publishers, and rights holders. LRCLIB serves as an aggregation layer, and we display this content in good faith for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. AUDD – Audio Recognition Service

AUDD provides audio fingerprinting and recognition technology that allows users to identify songs by recording a short audio snippet. Streamy Music integrates with AUDD's API to power our sound-recognition feature. We send only the minimum audio fingerprint required for identification, and we do not store, share, or retain any recorded audio beyond the instant needed to complete the recognition query.

All audio recognition requests are handled in accordance with AUDD's terms of service and privacy policy. We are committed to user privacy and to transparent handling of any audio data involved in the recognition process.

7. Open-Source Libraries and Software Licenses

Streamy Music is built using a wide range of open-source libraries, frameworks, and tools. We are deeply grateful to the global developer community for creating and maintaining these projects. Key dependencies include:

Streamy Music does not claim any affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with these companies unless explicitly stated.

The Streamy Music name, logo, and visual identity are the property of the Streamy Music Team. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of our branding is prohibited.

Our engineering and legal review processes include periodic audits of every third-party integration. We monitor provider policy updates, API version changes, and terms-of-service revisions to ensure our usage remains compliant over time. When a provider updates its policies, we assess the impact on Streamy Music and make necessary adjustments within a reasonable timeframe.
